In May 2008, University of Kentucky Entomology Graduate Student Sarah Colvin designed and built an educational insect display for the Visitor and Education Center at the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery in Jamestown, KY. The multi-part installation features a mix of preserved insects and Sarah's original artwork. Each section of the display focuses on a different theme, including Aquatic Insects, Butterflies and Moths, and Arthropods Affecting Human Health. Some highlights from the display are pictured below.
