NC Branch ESA Graduate Student Awards and Oral Presentation/Poster Competition
The ESA Graduate Student Award Committee encourages NCB-ESA students
to apply for one of the prestigious entomological student awards (listed
below) and to compete in the oral presentation or poster activities
at the 2010 NC Branch meeting in Louisville, Kentucky. For oral presentations
and posters, the award categories have been expanded to include undergraduates,
MS and PhD student sections with increased cash awards of $300, $200
and $100 for the top three finishers in each section. So, there will
be more student awards available at the upcoming 2010 NC Branch ESA
meeting! Student activities at our ESA meetings are vital to the success
of our organization and the future of our entomological profession.
So, please encourage all eligible students to consider applying for
one of these awards or submitting an oral presentation or poster for
the student competition. Important links are listed below for applying
for these awards and general information on the Graduate Student Award
and the Student Affairs Committees.
