Raven Run Nature Sanctuary
5888 Jacks Creek Road, Lexington, KY
Join us at the Raven Run Nature Sanctuary in Lexington, KY for our Night Insect Walk. At this annual summer event, members of the University of Kentucky Department of Entomology joins the Raven Run staff to lead groups of intrepid people (and their parents!) into the evening woods to search for insects and spiders. Because it's a true nature sanctuary, Raven Run has tremendous insect diversity and is a perfect place for this exciting event!
Arrive before sunset for insect games, a live arthropod "petting zoo", cockroach racing, and other activities. This event is free.
