Do I Qualify?

Minimum job requirements for County Extension Agents

4-H Youth Development - BS Degree or MS Degree in Education, Agriculture, Family & Consumer Sciences, Social Science, or similar field of study.

Agriculture & Natural Resources - BS Degree or MS Degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, or closely related field.

Commuity & Economic Development- BS Degree or MS Degree in the field of Rural Sociology, Business Administration, Community Development, Agricultural Economics or closely related field.

Family & Consumer Sciences - BS Degree or MS Degree in the field of Family & Consumer Sciences such as Family & Consumer Sciences Education, Family Studies, Dietetics/Nutrition, or closely related field.

Fine Arts - BS Degree or MS Degree in an area of Fine Arts, fine arts education, or related field. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 (4.0 scale) is preferred. A wide background in fine arts areas and experience in community fine arts programs is preferred.
