Below is more information about each New Agent:

Terence Clemons has fond memories of the years he spent as a 4-H camp counselor for Bath County. After completing his Bachelor’s in Corrections and Juvenile Services at Eastern Kentucky University, Terrance went to work for the Juvenile Justice System as a Social Service Clinician. He is now serving as an Agent-at-Large for 4-H Youth Development in Montgomery County.

Audrey Wolff is the Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences in Green County. She was introduced to Extension when she did an FCS student internship last fall in Jessamine County. Audrey completed her B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Kentucky in December and started her Extension career in her home county.

Jamie Dockery, Fayette County Extension Agent for Horticulture, comes to Extension with several years of retail horticultural experience. Most recently he was the sales and marketing manager for King’s Gardens and he also has worked for Hillenmeyer’s. Jaime was regularly requested as a gardening speaker for community groups and provided gardening segments for WKYT. Jamie has a Bachelor’s in Agriculture and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Berea College.

Dava Hayden is the new McCracken County Extension Agent for Horticulture. For the last two years Dava has worked as an Extension Associate for Nursery Crops at Princeton. She has been an active member of the Kentucky Nursery and Landscape Association and also helped get the Kentucky West Nursery Cooperative off the ground. Dava completed a Bachelor’s in Agriculture with an emphasis in Horticulture from Murray State University.

Kelly McDonough joined the team of 4-H Agents in Jefferson County in December of 2005. Kelly was an active 4-H’er in the Jefferson County 4-H communications program and has served as a volunteer in recent years. She also has experience in college recruitment and admissions. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Concentration in Social Services from the University of Louisville.

Kathy Hunter is the new Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development in Pendleton County. Kathy previously worked for Extension in Florida where she served as a 4-H Program Assistant and as coordinator and trainer at a 4-H Camp. Kathy received her Bachelor’s in Management & Marketing from Davenport University.

Lynn Blankenship is the new Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences in Metcalfe County. Lynn previously managed preschool/child care programs and worked in a training role for child care providers. She has a Bachelors of Science in Child Family Services/Child Care Management from State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

De’Borah Winston became acquainted with Extension in the summer of 2005 when she served as an Extension Intern in Hardin County. De’Borah is currently an Extension Agent-at-Large for Family & Consumer Sciences in Meade County. She completed her B.S in Family and Consumer Sciences at Western Kentucky University. She also has an Associate’s degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Sullivan University. De’Borah has 15 years of experience in training and personnel management with the U.S. Army.

Karen Ellis, Davies County Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development, is accustomed to working with youth. She has experience as a Membership Development Specialist for The Girl Scouts, a program coordinator for a center targeting high risk youth, and a teacher’s assistant. Karen received her Bachelor’s in Communications from Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro.

La Dawn Hale, Calloway County Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences, remembers becoming an active 4-H member in Calloway County at the age of eight. La Dawn studied Fashion Merchandising at Murray State University before going to Bowling Green State University to complete a Bachelor’s in Apparel Design and History. She also earned a Master of Arts in Fashion Design from Texas Woman’s University.

Becky Clark, Carter County Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences, comes to Extension from teaching. She was a Family and Consumer Science teacher in Northern Kentucky for three years. Becky received a Bachelor’s in Family and Consumer Science Education from the University of Kentucky and expects to receive a Master’s in Career and Technical Education from Morehead State University in May.
