A. Renee Heard, Fayette County Extension Agent-At-Large, comes to Kentucky Extension after working as a Training Specialist for the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service in Huntsville.  Renee completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Family and Consumer Sciences at Alabama A & M University.  She is working primarily in the 4-H program area but is also gaining experience in family & consumer sciences.  

 

Ashley Hazelwood, Lincoln County Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development, served as an Extension Intern the summer of 2006 in the Mercer County 4-H program.  Ashley also has experience as a 4-H program assistant.  She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree in Community Communications & Leadership Development with a minor in Family Studies.

 

Ashley Holt, Jefferson County Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development, served as an Extension Intern the summers of 2005 and 2006 in the Oldham County 4-H program.  Ashley also worked as a Whitney M. Young Job Corp Career Counselor.  She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology form Eastern Kentucky University.

 

Rebecca Sharp, Bell County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences, comes to Extension after working for the Bell-Whitley Community Action Agency Head Start Program.  Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies at Eastern Kentucky University.

 

Julie Murphy, Menifee County Extension Agent for Agriculture & Natural Resources, holds two B.S. degrees from the University of Kentucky, one in Animal Sciences and one in Agriculture Education, Communication and Leadership.  Julie also completed a M.S. at UK in Career & Technical Education.  She has experience as an Agricultural Education Teacher and was a State FFA Officer.
