Think your hands are clean? Think again! Next time you wash . . .
Use soap and water.
Rub together 20 seconds.
Rinse and dry.
Remember: WASH your hands every time you eat!
Attention Students – RU Washing Fruits and Vegetables Enough?
Avoid produce that is wilted, moldy, bruised, or slimy.
Be safe!
Just before you eat it, wash it under cold, running water.
This includes the rind and skins.
Keep produce away from other foods, especially raw meat, chicken and fish.
Attention Students – RU Cool Enough?

Not if your refrigerator is too warm! Be cool!
Keep your fridge between 32-40 ºF
Attention Students – RU Following the 2 Cool Rule?
If you chill your leftovers and lunch within 2 hours, you are.
Follow this rule to help keep your food safe to eat.
Attention Starving Students – RU Hungry?
Before your next bite of burger, check the temp.
If it reads 165ºF, it’s safe to eat.
