Research Assistant, Department of Entomology, University of Kentucky. Aug 2007 – Present.

Advisors: Dr. Songlin Fei and Dr. Lynne Rieske-Kinney

Thesis: Using remote sensing and predictive modeling to battle the hemlock woolly adelgid and protect eastern hemlock

Objective: Mapping eastern hemlock using remote sensing classifications and analyzing the invasion of hemlock woolly adelgid using species distribution models
