| Hello! This is my personal web site where I post information about my graduate research that I am working on at the University of Kentucky. Thanks for stopping by. If you are curious about the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid or Eastern Hemlock in Kentucky, be sure to check out the research and links pages!
I am a graduate student in the Department of Entomology at the University of Kentucky. While technically an entomology student, I spend most of my time in the bunker of the T.P. Cooper Forestry Building. Because I am working on a project that stemmed from collaboration between the entomology and forestry departments, I work closely with both Dr. Fei's Forestry GIS Lab as well as Dr. Rieske-Kinney's Forest Entomology Lab.
I moved to the beautiful city of Lexington from Conway, Arkansas in 2007 where I received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. Since that time, I have learned and developed skills in GIS and remote sensing and plan to work toward a career in this field, concentrating on biological issues. |
