Academic Interests: 
The use of prescribed fire as a tool to accomplish landscape-level ecological and silvicultural objectives in oak dominated forests.  In particular, how prescribed fire effects seedling establishment, survival and growth.

Personal Interests:
Walking in the woods, mountain biking, climbing, fishing/canoeing…just about anything outdoors.  Also helping conduct prescribed fire in hardwood and grassland fuel types.
