Gluck Equine Research Center

The mission of the Gluck Equine Research Center is scientific discovery, education, and dissemination of knowledge for the benefit of the health and welfare of horses.

Animal Genetic Testing & Research Laboratory

Established in 1986, the Animal Genetic Testing & Research Laboratory offers a variety of genetic testing services to horse owners and individual breed registries.  Available tests include traditional bloodtyping, DNA typing, parentage analysis and color gene testing.

Livestock Disease Diagnostic Center

The mission of the Livestock Disease Diagnostic Center (LDDC) is to aid in the diagnosis, and control of animal diseases in Kentucky through laboratory testing, epidemiology and surveillance.  The LDDC is a full-service diagnostic facility that offers comprehensive testing and consulting in the fields of microbiology, molecular biology, histopathology, clinical pathology, serology/immunology, toxicology, virology, extension and epidemiology.
