April 25, 2002
Conditions in the central and eastern part of Kentucky will again be favorable for the formation of frost in low lying areas tonight. Because of similarities in environmental conditions to April of 2001, UK scientists recommend that early and late pregnant mares be kept up until noon tomorrow. If practical, managers may consider mowing selected pastures tomorrow morning before turning mares out.
