The Paw Print Program offers practical tips for county Extension offices in Kentucky to be more environmentally sustainable and green.
The Paw Print Program has four consecutive levels of certification. Each level signifies an office's progression towards greater environmental sustainability.
By making a few small changes in our day-to-day activities the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service can do our part in caring for our Earth. We can make a difference!

To earn your office's Paw Print Certification:
-
Choose the level of certification that your office would like to achieve.
-
Team up with your co-workers to complete the action items.
-
Once action items are completed, fill out the Application for Certification form. County offices are highly encouraged to develop a green team to coordinate efforts. To be considered for certification of a level 75% of action items for that level must be completed and at least 75% of all office personnel have taken the individual actions on the checklist needed in order to conserve energy and water, reduce waste, and improve air quality. The ENRI Task Force realizes that not all action items may be applicable in all county offices. If your office is not able to complete certain action items please provide an explanation in the comments section provided below stating the action item and why it could not be completed.
-
Submit the online application form.
