Basic Class

Learning & using proper pressing techniques can make the difference in a "handmade" and a "homemade" garment. We want you to strive toward "handmade" status.

Dr. Jane Lamb is helping Nell Jordan make some decisions as she plans and makes a clothing item for her mother.

Basic Class

The new incoming class of volunteers have opportunity to practice some of the techniques discussed in preparation for constructing their teaching tools and samples which are required of all volunteers before they can collect service payback hours.

The time has finally arrived! I am about to be pinned with my new Certified Master Clothing name tag.

Recognition and Certification

Dorthy Schwantes, MVP Steering Committee Member Emeritus, passes the light to each new Certified Master Clothing Volunteer.

Congratulations and best wishes to each of the volunteers from the Class of 2000 who were certified.

We also salute and praise each of the volunteers who were re-certified -- individuals who remain in the program four or more years, earning 50+ hours each rotation period.

Closing Session

Our time together is drawing to a close. We are proud of the projects we made, friends we have spent time with, and the ideas we take home to share with others. It's wonderful and exciting to be a part of the Kentucky Master Clothing Volunteer Program!
