Faculty & Staff

Leslie McCammish joined the Family & Consumer Sciences Extension team in March of 2009.  She graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture with a Bachelor of Animal Sciences, specializing in Equine, and a minor in Business.  She was employed by Fasig-Tipton Company from 2000-2009.  She worked very closely with Fasig-Tipton's previous owner John Hettinger and helped him develop a well respected national charity.   Leslie served as the Executive Director of Blue Horse Charities raising over $2,035,000 in funds assisting equine rescues across North America. 

Leslie is now working with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP-Ed) and the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Programs (EFNEP) as an Extension Associate.  Her main focus is managing the data collected by the program's volunteers, agents, assistants and teachers.
