Farm Safety
The Breckinridge County Youth Safety Health Task Force has been very instrumental in putting together the Farm and Home Safety Day since 1997. The committee has worked very had every year to work together for one cause ‘decrease home and farm accidents’.
In our survey of the participants, students reported very positively on how to handle themselves in dangerous situations.
Donations were received for purchasing helmets, first aid kits, and bike lights. Progressive Farmer also donated tee-shirts, goodie bags, and much more, for a total of all donations $5,500.
