The year finally came for a group of young ladies. They have been on my radar since they were in middle school to get them to ‘Student Roundup’.
I took for 4 high school juniors to the UK College of Agriculture Student Roundup. Due to the long trip and our plans to tour the campus we went the evening before. I can remember how intimidated I was by the numerous buildings and abundance of students. We walked the sidewalks and just answered questions about the campus and met up with a few students from Breckinridge County on that first evening. On Thursday they attended classes and seminars in the College of Ag. If I have done anything at all, I have showed students along the years that the UK College of Agriculture has something for everyone.
