This agent has been heavily involved with Leadership Development activities this year. I was privileged to serve on the committee, and serve as a presenter, for the 3 "Leadership II" inservice trainnings for Agents.
Additionally we have heavily implemented the new 4-H Leadership curricilium. We have utilized this curricilium with many different 4-H and other youth groups. This curricilum was also the focus of our 4-H Leadership Day, and our two-day 4-H Teen Leadership Day Camp. We have full implemented the ACA 24 hour trainning program for all of our camp Teen Leaders.
On surveys youth indicate that they have greatly increased their knowlege of leadership traits and habits. However, real evidence of our improved youth leadership includes, 8 teens attended Teen Conference, 12 attended Teen Retreat, 2 served on the Regional 4-h Teen Retreat Planning committee (leadership in action) 1 on the State 4-H Teen Council and the Teen Conference Planning Committee, 2 served as Mammoth Cave 4-H Teen Officers, and 14 successfully completed our two day 4-H Teen Leadership Day camp. Thus making themselves eligible to attend 4-H Camp and other activities as "Certified Teen Leaders"
