58 children from Garrard County went to Frankfort for 4-H: A Capitol Experience, an experience that some of those children may have never known. The need is to expose our children to exciting, positive experiences that they believe they will not ever do. A bus full to capacity of children and adult chaperones excited to see the Capitol Building. The adults excited to see their little faces light up when we take a picture with our Representative Napier who goes out of his way to make us feel welcome. Two children are selected to be Pages for Rep. Napier, a day they will not soon forget. Pictures are taken and certificates are handed out to all of the participants. The end result, children learning the name of their Representative, the Governor and learning what the Rotunda is. What a great experience for all.
