Having worked together on many successful programming series in recent years (i.e. Master Cattlemen and Horse College), ag agents in Boyle, Lincoln and Garrard joined efforts to offer the new Master Grazer Program in the spring of 2006. Rockcastle was also a part of this effort. Some 50 livestock producers and/or forage growers from throught the area responded positively to the invitation to enroll in the six-session comprhensive series of meetings that were held in Lincoln County. In addition to planning and coordinating the program schedule, the agent's also prepared a meal prior to each of the sessions. Participants felt that the $50 they invested in the registration for this series was a bargin based on the information they received in there notebooks of printed material and at the sessions.
