Impact Statement

Ohio County Homemakers display shining examples of their commitment and leadership through the many activities they participate in throughout our county, either as individuals or clubs or as a county organization. Many of their projects help encourage developmental assets in the young people in our community. These activities are planned and developed and conducted with the FCS Agent assistance. These projects are held in cooperation with many community agencies. Many of the Extension programs depend on the Leadership and support provided by the Homemaker organization. Some projects they have conducted or been involved in include:
*Youth Ag Days- 20 Homemakers teaching & volunteering where needed
*County Fair Exhibit Building, exhibit registration and nightly building security.
