Beef Quality Assurance training is a big part of the beef industry in the state of Kentucky. Beef producers in Pendleton County are required to take this training before they receive any cost-share for phase-one cattle handling and to sell cattle in a CPH-45 sale. This year, nearly 50 producers were re-certified and 15 were certified for the first time. As a result, we will produce a safer product and add to its economic value by selling in the CPH-45 sales.
