The Research and Education Center & West Kentucky Substation at Princeton (Caldwell County), are located on 1,300 acre facilities that are devoted to research on grain crops, beef cattle, fruits and vegetables, forages, and tobacco. The farm is located at 1205 Hopkinsville Street.

Mission statement - The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture has a mission of research, education, and service. The Department of Management Operations is a non-academic unit formed to support all of the College Missions. Support is available by way of Management Operations staff on the University of Kentucky campus and at other research farm locations throughout Kentucky. Services provided are campus support services, administration of motor pool vehicle fleets, operation of off-campus facilities and equipment, maintenance and operation of University farms, and construction of minor research facilities.
