is a collaborative project combining the efforts, equipment and personnel of the three research programs of Dr. Glenn Collins, Dr. Art Hunt and Dr. Joe Chappell. The PGE Lab is an offshoot from the Plant Cell Biology Lab located at the University of Kentucky and is part of the College of Agriculture.

Research centers around the optimizing gene constructs for plant expression, molecular characterization, and generational advancement of genetically engineered agronomic plant lines. Plants worked with include Arabidopsis, Soybean, Tobacco, and Tomato. The Lab Director is Dr. Randy Dinkins and the Lab Manager is Curtis Meurer.
