We place the highest priority on excellence in graduate education. The graduate faculty includes many nationally and internationally recognized scientists, and the high ratio of faculty to students promotes individualized guidance and extensive interaction. Graduate students have full access to excellent laboratory and field facilities.
Graduate study in the College of Agriculture is closely tied to our research programs. Through immersion in research programs, our students acquire both broad training in their discipline and special expertise in their area of focus.
Graduate Research Assistantship support is available on a competitive basis. Contact the Director of Graduate Studies in the program of interest to inquire about the availability of, and the requirements for, assistantship support.
To obtain graduate catalogs, formal application materials, and further information about graduate studies at the University of Kentucky, contact The Graduate School. Although formal applications are submitted through the Graduate School office, prospective graduate students are also advised to correspond with the Director of Graduate Studies.
