Kentucky: By The Numbers
~ Poverty 2007 Change Update ~
While unemployment rates are increasing and people face job losses, county level data on poverty rates and median household income have not yet caught up. The most recent estimates are for 2007. While national and state data were released in August (as well as for larger and metro counties), data for all 3,141 counties in the U.S. were released only about two months ago.
For more information on national trends see http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/poverty/poverty07.html
