Scholarships
First Year Scholarships
Scholarships for first-year students are awarded on the basis
of the student's high school grade point average, ACT or SAT scores, writing
ability and leadership potential. The scholarship application gives a good
overview of each applicant's development in those areas. The First Year College
of Agriculture scholarship application is now available on-line.
Eligibility for First Year Scholarships
To be eligible for a College of Agriculture First-Year Scholarship you must:
- Apply for admission to the University of Kentucky with a major in the
College of Agriculture by the January 15 deadline. (For more information

available in PDF format and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. This application
may be printed out or typed on-line. Keep in mind that Adobe Acrobat
Reader does not allow you to save the document so you must complete the
application in its entirety at one time. Finish reading these instructions
before you complete the application.
- Attach a copy of your ACT Assessment High School Report. A copy of your
SAT profile may be included if available.
