The UK Wheat Science Group comprises researchers and extension specialists at the University of Kentucky from the Departments of Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Agricultural Economics, and  Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Extension Agents, and farmers. Our goal is to solve the problems that limit the profitability of wheat production in Kentucky.

BREAKING NEWS

Based on insufficient availability of prothioconazole (Proline) in KY, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture has issued (and EPA has ratified) a Crisis Exemption for the use of Folicur (4 fl oz/acre applied at Feeke's stage 10.51) for Fusarium Head Blight and DON management. The Crisis Exemption is good through May 15. See attached documentation for more details
