Celebrate National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week!

In recognition and celebration of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (NHHAW), join the Lunch and Learn with presenter Kendra OoNorasak, Director of Community Outreach in the Department of Human Nutrition at the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and Campus Kitchen advisor.

The Campus Kitchen at the University of Kentucky is a student-powered organization dedicated to reducing food waste and eliminating food insecurity. They recover food and produce from campus dining facilities, grocery stores, and farmers markets to prepare healthy, balanced meals for those experiencing poverty, hunger, isolation, and/or homelessness in the Lexington and UK community.

Campus Kitchen works to target the root causes of hunger and food waste on campus and in the community through education and programming.

Lunch and learn event will be from 12-1pm EST in the MLK Center on campus. Free food will be provided.

RSVP through BBNvolved here!
