Providing local food producers with business success tools!
The MarketReady training program, developed by the UK Cooperative Extension Service, is an educational program for local food producers to enhance their business tools for success.
Farmers and producers, processors, county extension agents or anyone interested in selling their farm products to restaurants, grocery stores, schools and/or wholesale distributors are invited.
Farmers and producers will gain assurance regarding the expectations set forth by potential buyers (restaurants, grocers, schools, etc.). Extension agents will gain the knowledge and tools to assist farmers and producers in their county interested in selling to restaurants, grocery stores, food service directors, and/or wholesale distributors.
