Sunshine Day 2024
A fun event for special needs youth and their families!
Join us at Sunshine Day 2024! This free family event will create a softer, more calming environment at the Boone County Fair for children with special needs and sensory processing disorders.
Due to space limitations, this event is only open to special needs youth in Boone County and their immediate family.
10:00 am-12:00 pm
- Kissel carnival rides
- Games
- Cloverville tours
- Diamond G Ranch Pony Rides
- Lunch
- Quiet area
12:00 pm-1:00 pm:
- Sunshine Day Livestock Show! Registered youth will have the opportunity to be up close with an animal. They will be assisted by a 4-H Livestock Club member and their animal, your child will learn how to show a farm animal at the fair.
- Animals and ribbons will be provided.
