Growing Our Own Workshop: Understanding Bids, Requests for Proposals, & Bonding Requirements

Workshops designed help participants succeed in the small business landscape!

Submitting Bids and RFPs can be confusing and a barrier to winning contracts. This comprehensive workshop will demystify the world of bids, RFPs, insurance, and bonding.

Led by experts from the University of Kentucky and the SBA, this session will cover essential topics: types of solicitations, navigating the RFP process, insurance and bonding essentials, and case studies. The workshop will end with a Q&A session so please bring your questions.

Supported by the UK Office of Land-grant Engagement, the initiative aims to strengthen and grow small, Kentucky-based businesses across the Commonwealth by equipping participants with the knowledge and resources needed to thrive.
